What Makes Analysis + Planning Different
than Research + Discovery?
In all honesty, they are similar, and are also best served together as a duo.
Much like Milk + Cookies, Netflix + Chill or Peanut Butter + Jelly...you get the picture right?
They are two things that can exist alone - but that make much more sense together. Because while we spend an extensive amount of time during our Research + Discovery Phase gathering information the main purpose of the phase is the actual research itself.
While the majority of the analysis and strategic planning occurs right here... in the Analysis + Planning Phase.
How We Do It
Think of this phase as the skeleton of your digital experience.
We fully analyze the data we have collected which consists of things like; analytics, user testing, user personas, heat maps, along with competitor data and industry statistics (just to name a few). Then we use the data to help us map out each piece of our strategic plan to meet your company's needs and business goals.
This could be a full start to finish branding endeavor from branding and logo design, marketing & advertising strategy all the way through the full design and development of your website. Or it could be a brand refresh with a new website design and development project, or perhaps you just need some assistance with content and marketing.
Here at Thinkbean we don't oversell, and we don't over architect. We provide solutions to meet your unique needs and no matter the scale of your needs we have the expert team who will not only get you there - but who will continue to grow with you over time.
Coming out of the Analysis + Planning phase you will have some solid stand alone deliverables that can include:
- Content Strategy
- Editorial Calendar
- 60-90 Day Marketing Plan
- Paid Advertising Strategy
- Social Media Strategy
- Project Timeline + Defined Scope of Work (SOW)
Following the Analysis + Planning Phase there are typically two routes; the first is to take our insights and action items to an internal design and development team to execute them. The second and more common route is to move into our UX + Design phase and/or Technology + Development phase.
This is where you'll truly start seeing your digital experience come to life and where the Thinkbean design and engineering team get to shine.
